Demonstrations of what you seek to prevent

You told us:
"The church powers of demons and hellsight, do not actually free the demons from hell, nor transport you there, instead they give you a glimpse of what the world would be like under their control, perhaps after such an experience you appreciate better what it is we seek to prevent."

I am disgusted.
The implications of this are broad and overwhelmingly unpleasant.
Say you were fighting a band of men who had brought death and ruin upon your city, and you managed to capture a handful of their fighters.
Would you bind them, lead them to their homes and make them give their wives and children a glimpse of raping and pillaging?
Would you march them through your own city and do the same to the citizens you though were "straying"?
Would it work?

When confronted with an argument like this, people are often inclined to say, "That's different." But is it?

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Chronos, in the year 244 AF.
