Me and my brethren

I find it ENORMOUSLY offensive that you attempted to sum up every Occultist's beliefs (besides Morlana, of course) in one insulting post. If you try and say "I was just pointing out the flaws with a few Occultists", then you are obviously lying. For why would you interview them to begin with for any other reason than trying to stereotype us all?
Perhaps you should've interviewed me, Israfel. I assure you I would've very calmly and politely explained that a defining characteristic of an Occultist is the presence of free thought and will in all of us.
Therefore, unlike an institution of brainwashed minions, we all possess separate views on who we are and what we believe. It's true: some Occultists believe they are "good".
The term "good" is very general and is left to interpretation based on the one saying it. You may think that our cannibalism is "bad", but I think hearts are quite "good" tasting and scrumptious, really. I find the Church's practice of imposing their beliefs and skills through the use of shrines (don't even BEGIN this argument: I've already heard the other side and am just expressing my opinion, my free will and thought, my individuality) positively "evil", but I'm sure the Church thinks differently on the matter and considers it quite "good".
As far as killing "innocents" goes, I'm not going to get in a lengthy argument full of mud-slinging and pointing out the fact that giving a poor, defenseless chicken to a big, lumbering woodcutter to be eaten is quite cruel and is barbaric. I will simply say this: the definition of "innocence" is left up to interpretation, yet again, by the one who uses it.
With this voicing of my opinion, I am not saying I am "good" or that I believe that the goblins are perfectly angelic beings, sent to Sapience to show us the error of our ways and how to truly love your fellow hobgoblin.
I am simply saying this: One should NEVER sum up a whole institution simply because a few members of it believe one way or another. I do not believe that EVERY churchie out there is filled with prejudice and close-mindedness and LOVE to lie, deceit, and convocate poor, defenseless youngins so they can slaughter them mercilessly (i'm just saying most do. *laughs and snorts* just kidding of course.)
In fact, I believe that there are perfectly honorable members of the Church out there that have the right idea: tolerance and benevolence to all forms of life. I even accept the fact that I am considered, by the majority of people out there, the true epitome of evil, and I don't pretend to be the Church (or rather, the way the church was intended to be) and show my graciousness and benevolence to all of Sapience.
I hope these words may enlighten you and clear up any stereotypes, as this post was written and created by a tolerant, self-proclaiming and knowingly "evil" Occultist.
