Just to set you down the right path towards light. Nuitari was attacked by a Shallam Guardian. It is his JOB to attack any enemies who enter the city. What about me. I entered Ashtan today to look for clothes that were sort of Penguin suitish for my wedding. (I actually did find some wonderfull pieces) and also a wedding ring that was other than a platinum one from Hashan or DeBurr's. _I_ am not an enemy of Hashan, I havnt been since before the heart incident, for a foolish Act I did as a teenager, however I still did play a wonderfull game of dodge the Baddies. I had several violent acts caused against me (I presume it was a brazier), GOD BLESS DIVINE GRACE.

My point is. If I have to play avoid the bad guys in grace just to do some shopping, why cant a known and longtime enemy of Shallam, a convicted Cold-Blooded Murderer of her citizens not be attacked. Not to mention this is Shallam Policy, (I know what you are going to say it is a stupid policy), but not for those newbies that have been getting murdered on a regular basis recently by Infernals, Occultists and Snakes who enter our city and hide in the sewers with the faeces where they belong, only to pop up and attack weak citizens when someone like Thalen isnt standing next to a shrine ready to convocate their butts and drive them off. If you were an 18 year old Shallamite and got killed by a person 4000% your might, you also would sing Thalens praises as we do.
Also to your point on shrines, well what is Thalen going to do shout "Wait a second Nui dont kill anyone just yet, I'll run to Delos and get ready to convocate you out of Shallam so you dont do it and then hope you dont attack instantly once I do".
Please, I always thought you were fairly intelligent, more so than me, but if I can think of this point .. you obviously arn't. My point is I hope I have argued it ok, I am getting married in a few hours and am pre-occupied, If you were a Shallam Citizen, or newbie, you would Praise the Gaurdians for every death they inflict under any circumstances. Also If someone is enemied, they should know not to enter Shallam, they are enemied for a reason, and if they do, expect to be confronted and killed, even if it is a teaming by 50 newbies.
