My grove is my home, but I also think of all forests to be my home. If the home of a city dweller were to be ransacked, or burned down, I would expect the city would do everything in it's power to bring the culprit to justice - no matter what the crimes against its owner may be. Whether or not a grove can be used as a weapon, it is a part of the forests, and like the cities, Oakstone will defend the forest against attack.

In other words, just as any city would defend its buildings, Oakstone will defend its trees, may they be usable as weapons or not.
