Necromancy

Fellow Scholars

I am not a Necrophiliac. In fact those who know me, know that I have very little to do with women even when they are alive. My time is best spent in the pursuit of my studies. In fact, I am quite surprised that some of you accusing me of such practices are necromancers yourself.

Doesn't it bother you in the least that while the skills of domination have allowed powerful Occultists to be able to bind the great daemons of the Chaos Planes, necromancy still seems to remain in its infancy? I admit that the powers of Necromancy, which we can now master, are indeed great, but the surface of its potential has hardly been scratched. Surely more time needs to be spent in its research.

The power of Necromancy gives one such strength so one may control the dead and have power over death itself. There is nothing greater then this save the wisdom of the Gods themselves. I would like to know how creatures, such as the vampire, can exist. How do they animate and then control the massive hordes of the dead? My soul delights in the mere thought of such ability!

Surely with this knowledge Ashtan can reign supreme! Surely you can see the worth of my work! Surly you can see that we would have legions of the unstoppable dead. Our armies would simply grow and grow as we slaughter our foes and then march into Shallam, reducing it to nothing more then ashes.

Many have asked how they can assist in my work. I will tell now what can be done. BODIES. I need the corpses of the innocent in order for my work to progress. You can deliver them to Sullust, who will in turn give them to me. The more I have the quicker I can progress. My thanks,

Valor, Infernal Knight

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Daedalan, in the year 243 AF.
