An Observation, an Afterthought

Greetings.
Firstly, congrats to my dear ol' dad on his fantabulous litle stack. I honestly never knew you had it in you, Rej.
Ok, I've said that, but now I have something else to say. I already said it to a few of you out there, but I felt I should make my feelings public. We all know how I felt about the whole reincarnation gift of Deucalion's. The other day, I was watching the tide come in from the cliff that I call home (but really isn't), and I made a connection. Again, apologies to anyone who takes offense at this. It is not my intent, but rather to feed the intellectual minds out there with this:
Death's heart was to explode and kill us all, right? Deucalion throws himself on the heart, taking the blow and saving us from dying. HOWEVER, before he leaves, he gives us the gift of reincarnation. In response to this gift, hundreds of Achaeans are killing themselves so that they can be reborn into a new race.
In either situation, the overall outcome is strangely similar, isn't it?
Just food for thought. I apologize again for you who are offended or even angered by this. Again, it was not my intent to do this.

'Till we meet again,
Rall D'Ischai, The Kestrel

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Phaestian, in the year 242 AF.
