Hail Achaeans!
I no longer weep for the fate of the Church for it seems that Lord Deucalion heard my prayers for reform and has granted us all a new lease on life. I am sorry I wasn't around for the events that transpired. Although I no longer weep, I'm still disheartened by the fact that Isildur did not feel the need to answer my questions regarding the Church's methods. I feel slighted that Isildur, thus the Church did not feel the need to justify my questions with nary a response, so I am forced to conclude that the Church's prevailing philosophy is that the ends justify the means. Thus the oppressing of a few weak people, and killing of the occassional innocent is okay, as long as the Church gets their way. Now I am forced to ask, if this is the case, what pray tell makes the Church any different than those who call themselves evil and chaotic?
I am, of course, quite certain that I will not be dignified with a response, but at least Lord Deucalion's great sacrifice has perhaps shown the current administration of the Church that reform is indeed needed. Isildur, perhaps you are not a saint, but you are at least trying and for this I applaud you. I would be even more pleased if you apologized for your actions against me, but again I doubt that will happen. But as they say, Pride cometh before the fall.
Mykor, in response to your post directed at me, I say this: Everyone else does not claim to follow the ways of Good, Order, and Light. This is why I hold the Church to a different standard than the rest of the land. Many of those who supported the Heart are evil and do not deny this fact and thus I expect behaviour such as what I described in my experiences from them. But these same actions from the Church?
Filled with a renewed sense of hope and purpose,
