Death

Being a true warrior (which many of you either can't, or don't wish to relate) consists of embracing death, and it's implications. Death is the force which moves us to greater things, and hightens our sense of urgency, therefore motivating us in all aspects. I face death on a daily basis. Either on the fields of blood, or during my times of meditation. Journeying into the spiritual realm takes a tremendous toll on one's soul. Once inititated, my soul could be lost, or severed from my physical body. Therefore I keep my mind and soul in harmony with my physical aspect. I have spent many years close to death. The comfort it brings is beyond descriptive words.
Therefore, when Thoth returns, I wish to face my ally face to face, and I would be honoured to be the first mortal to feel the Deathlord's touch. I wish to die in the presence of such power, and enigmatic glory. To journey into the Unknowable if for only one time, as my time in the Unknown realms is simply not enough to satisfy my soul's hunger for understanding. If it means having to be reborn into a new body (with the same knowledge I now possess) than I would make the sacrifice.
Losing all my experience I have now aquired just to view the Deathlord's realm....To experience true freedom if for only a second. I pray Thoth will complete my quest for spiritual perfection.
Even if it's for only a second.
Penned by my hand on the 18th of Scarlatan, in the year 241 AF.
