The confusion seems to be with the phrase "live and let live". It does
not mean that literally. It means if you allow us to live as we wish, we
will do the same. i.e. don't interfer with us and we won't interfer with
you.
Killing those we are sworn to protect is most definately NOT allowing
us to live as we wish, it is definately interfering with us, thus we
do not leave you alone either.
