Misunderstandings.

Unsurprisingly, Kyasha has not responded claiming that the Church actually subscribes to "live and let live." I have pointed out that this is, in fact, in explicit conflict with Church policy as previously stated. Let me nail the coffin shut: the Church, by official policy, meddles in the affairs of others, and though it is for the purpose of protecting the weak and defending the innocent (an ill-conceived reason for anything) it is, nonetheless, not conformant to "live and let live" precisely because it oversteps the self-interest of the Church.

This is no compliment! First, it rends a claim now made by several members of the Church laughable, namely that the Church follows the maxim "live and let live." Second, it should come as no surprise that I find the stated policies of the Church at base to be ill-conceived, and thus for me to restate them truthfully is not complimentary, nor is it unintentional.

Third, it has long been the object of some doubt whether the members of the Church actually follow its stated policy or whether they engage in grotesque and wanton sexual acts, practice hypocrisy, and so on.

Regarding your charge of hypocrisy within the Truths of Evil: a gardener will often shear limbs from his trees that they may bear better fruit or remove weeds from a garden so that it may be healthier and please the eye. A healer sometimes removes or cauterizes diseased flesh. These are commonly accepted as things which improve the state of trees, gardens, and patients.
You, apparently, cannot accept this. You seem to think that a cancer is as desirable a part of the patient as any other. Hypocrisy, you cry, for surely the whole is no longer the whole but something less if some part of it is removed? No, the whole remains, even if it is changed. Surely you do not declare a tree no longer existent when it lets a leaf fall!

It is no news to anyone that the Church does not accept the Seven Truths of Evil. Sapience knows well the position of the Infernals and that of the Church, and the minds of those who disagree will not be changed. Appallingly, I must reiterate: if you do not understand, study HELP SARTAN. We know well who we kill and why. Our methods are consistent with our stated goals.
