My dear fellow,
Surely you missed out a few facts in your otherwise balance recounting
of the Tale.
You and no fewer than SIX fellows were slaughtering the innocent
fishermen and women of Shastaan.
Seeing this TWO members of the church, totaling not even the skills of
yourself let alone all SEVEN of you, came to the aid of the villagers
in the quickest possible way. By summoning you away from those who you
were murdering, and into their own room, where they promptly gave you
the peace of death to contemplate your actions.
Yes you were convocated, yes you were killed because you were in the act
of murdering innocents, and the church is sworn to protect such people
