The church.

Lord, I am at a loss as to the events of which you speak, for certain
I have known that your followers were amongst us, and whilst they
were watched with suspicion they were treated fairly and judged by
their actions.
You approached me and asked if I were willing to allow a temple to you
to be constructed in Shallam, which I gave my blessing to.
And forget not the time when you approached me for aid in your
disagreements with Eris, I promised to assist your mortal followers
should they be victimised by those that followed Eris, and I upheld
my promise.
Either you were not sincere or you changed your mind for your order
allied with those that worshiped Eris soon afterwards against the church
it was not the Church who changed sides, we have and always will fight
for the side of the oppressed, the victimised and the innocent, be they
followers of yourself or any other God. But we will not idly stand by if
any decide to attack us.

Respectfully,
Isildur,
Archprelate.

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Scarlatan, in the year 240 AF.
