The Church

Lady Eris,
The Church embraces many people and many beliefs as you well know
the Paladins have in their past included at least two members of
your own fold.
The church does not judge lightly, and without evidence, we do not
reject people out of hand because of their beliefs.
But you portray the killing of the Infernals as random acts of
aggression and unbecoming of anyone affiliated with the church.
On the contrary the Infernals claim that Lord Sartan himself has
declared the church as their enemy and they should destroy it, and
to this end they attack and whereever possible kill members of the
church.
Though it saddens us we do not stand by unreacting and since the
church is strong and organised the Infernals are seemingly slaughtered
as we kill them. If indeed as you observed some members or associates
of the church revel in their dutiful task of defending the church and the
innocent of Sapience then I can but hope they are rejoicing for those that
are saved and the hope that while the soul of the slain will spend
a moment with the Logos redemption may come.
Respectfully
Isildur,
Archprelate.
