Essay on Beauty

Beauty is. It is the subjective look at an objective cause. It is the true purity, the once conviction, the only idea all people of every belief, path, and life can seek to understand, for in every heart lies beauty, and its release is imminent.
I regret to say that few people see beauty, as most listen only to the stereotypical rantings of a blind hypocrite known to be lost in the forests. For while Nature claims beauty, its arrogant laugh has caused others confusion. I have seen Nature unearth its outstretched roots, and trample beauty before its untempered wrath, its immense branches inspiring fear, and its fiery verdancy lacking compassion. Only the wisest fool considers Nature and the beauty beneath its roots.
Where then is beauty? Only those who have witnessed it knows where it lies. The old man knows beauty, its overwhelming complexity driving him beyond insanity. The Choir knows beauty, their stifled song now in homage and awe. Epicurus has spoken of beauty, Averroes has tried, but no one has listened. Beauty lies in the knowledge of the beholder, the idea that never was and never can be understood.
True beauty is unnamed, and is understood only by the small voice hidden within the deepest recesses of the chaotic mind. Only those who seek True Knowledge can find beauty, and in its cause can it save only those who forgive. All else must only gape in ignorant wonder.
And that, my friends, is the essence of beauty.
