I am writing about the various odd things that have been happening lately in this find land of Achaea, in search of an answer to the many questions that have arisen.

First of all, the bird life in Achaea is mysteriously being killed by some unknown force... All throughout the land there are dead sparrows and robins, and other birds sometimes. One day, as i was strolling about W Ithmia, a sparrow was lying on the floor with a broken wing. I took care of her, mended her wound, and she began to live with me as a companion. She even had a nest in my grove, with three spotted eggs, and that was her greatest pride. However, a few weeks ago, right before the time of hatching, my sparrow was lying dead on the floor of my grove, an ugly wound on her chest. Upon further inspection, i realized that it was not a wound caused by a predator... As a druid, I would like to know what force is killing these animals, and what can be done to stop it, lest the birds of Achaea go into extinction...

Furthermore, a couple of days ago, a strange old man was crying and screaming about in the southern part of the Forest. I went over to him and asked what was wrong, if he was lost, in need of healing, or hunted by wild animals. All he would do was scream about something of a Death's Heart that had killed his family or something or other. I invited him over to my grove for some tea to relax him, yet he would not relent his screaming and crying... Suddenly, he began to race out of the forest and into the road, as if he had seen a ghost... I commanded the forest to stop him from leaving so that I could demand more information, but Alas! the forest did not obey...

I beg anyone, mortal or immortal, to clarify more about this Death's Heart or the dying birds... and I hope that I will find an answer. If you care to discuss these events with me, feel free to leave me a msg, and I will invite you over for some tea.

Thank you for your time,
Shanto, Affined to Nature
