On behalf of the ruling council of Ashtan, I hereby announce that Ashtan
shall have no part in the treaty anymore.

Although the treaty was made in all good intent, it has become a focal
point of endless arguments and controversies, driving us into even more
and more mundane trivialities.

It is no longer whether the treaty terms are clear or fair enough. Many
rebel at the idea of even following another new rule imposed upon
them

Personally, I have wished for a better and better treaty that is agreeable
to every side, but recent events have disillusioned me. I have serious
doubts now as to how we can all find peace of mind among ourselves
while stepping on each other's toes.

Let's face it. We all have our own different agenda, goals and
differences between us. We have our share of sages and peacemakers, but
alas, the restless & ruthless among us will always bring us unrest &
discord.

Let freedom of thought & action reign. The blind & misguided among us
will see the errors of their ways over time.
