The Church

I am here to put forth a theory. It is not one I 100% beleive,
but I have heard it a few times, and I see some truth in it.

Dalamar is a conveniant individual for the Church to keep around.
He has a tendancy to do the dirty work the church would rather
not be tied to, then be forgiven for it (a stumble in his march
back into the Church's grace, of course).

Do you think the Church will give up such a valuable resource?
Stop complaining about his practices, we all know what he does,
and most of us disagree with his methods, but don't blame him
but rather blame the organization (or at least part of it) that
is manipulating him.

The Church is full of many people who exemplify It. People who
have good souls, and strive to do what is Good, and would
give their lives to prevent Evil. They are brave, and to be
admired. But there are many people in it who are not up to
these standards. They hide in the shadow of the Church and
use it's might as a justification for thier actions.

Perhaps the Church could use a shakedown. Maybe the leadership
of said organization will be insulted by this, but I submit
to those of you who are, that if you don't beleve me, then
a shakedown and careful evaluation of your membership will
reveal nothing that shoudn't be there.

Just a thought.
