convocation

Although I agree it is dishonourable for signatories of the treaty to use convocation (and Pierce is a member of a signatory city), I would like to point out how ridiculous it is to declare the intention to destroy a group of people, and then expect them to come out and fight you one on one. I'm curious, if Zsarachnor declared his intention to destroy each and every Ashtanite in existence, and began making regular forays into Ashtan to kill your citizens, would you run out and challenge him one on one? Of course not. When someone or a group of people declare war on your city, your first obligation is stopping that group or person, so that no more of your city's innocents will be hurt by the marauding villain. I also must say that I find it hypocritical that you do not level the same criticisms at your fellow Ashtanites, who are often found killing completely innocent Shastaan women together, and not one on one.

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Lupar, in the year 236 AF.
