My dream

The night grew old and Twilight cast the curtain of nighttime on the world. The stars came out, one by one. Valnurana crossed the lands, putting all into sleep. Falling to a peaceful rest, a shooting star lighted the world for a brief second.

Half reality, Half imagination I found myself in a quiet garden. Luminous flowers lined the area, while birds sang in the trees. The area was undisturbed by mortals and life was abundantly flourishing.

Still dazzaled I walked over the giant rocks surrounding the garden. I put my hands on one of the rocks and looked over. Far below was the sea. I was in a secret mountain garden, with no apparent way out.

I gazed down at the waves, crashing against the base of the mountain. They had been there for eternity and would probably continue forever. In the distant water dolphins were jumping in and out of the water.

Opening my ears once again I began to notice a small trickling. I turned away from the rocks and proceeded back. I found a hidden brook beneath the shrubs. As I bent down to gaze into it I became aware of a quiet sound, almost like something was pulsating.

I cautiously stood up and turned around to see a creature of pure light. It had no form but was ever changing. It was absolute purity. It danced around the garden and then stopped before me. When I gazed deep into it, it stoped moving

With a quick flash it vanished, and blinded me momentarily.

I appeared in a small field, off the north road. Once again stunned I glanced around. Then I noticed the city of Ashtan ahead of me, the city of the damned.

Once again the creature of light appeared

Then it was gone once again and I noticed a bright light inside of Ashtan. It was racing through the city with incredible speed, exterminating the evil withing. The citizens were being burned by it. Even the shadows could not hide, and it began to cry out in agony

Soon the city was demolished, the buildings crashed down to the earth and the evil was crushed. I was glad that many people I hated, and hated me back, were gone but I was still disturbed by the sweep of death across the land.

Still confused I began walking back toward Shallam with many things on my mind. I wanted to cry out with joy that the evil of the land but then I got angered at myself for thinking such thoughts. Many people were, some who deserved it, some who did not. I felt horribly for the loss of life of those souls, even who were my enemies.

Then I awoke

I know my path in life, and walk it freely.
