Immorality

Hail,

Since we are making a practice of mincing words and splitting hairs, allow
me to contribute my own two sovereigns to the verbal fray:

Immoral -- (i-mor-`el) adj. -- contrary to the moral code of the community

Since the Guild of the Infernals is (to my admittedly limited knowledge)
the only Guild who claims a specific and written Code of conduct,
based upon the principles of Honour and Natural Selection, I fail to
see how there is a relative comparision from which to claim our
"immorality".

I would charge, by way of response, that it is the bodies which do not
regulate the behavior of their members which contribute to the
limited "anarchy" which so often predominates the proud realm of Achaea.

We, of the Iron Citadel, seek only to "cull the herd" of those who are nae
worthy of the blessing of life, granted by The Logos. We are not the judges
of this standard -- merely the instruments of its execution. To coin a
phrase, "It is a dirty job... but someone has to do it."

On that note, I laud my brothers and sisters who have shown the courage
and conviction to lay their lives on the line for their ideals. The ideal
of an Achaea free from the weaknesses of "pity" and "mercy". An Achaea
where each man and woman earns his or her own way in the world. An
Achaea free from the insanity of the dreaded disease known as the "OOC".
An Achaea where every man, woman, and child is judged only by the merits
of their own accomplishments.

The term used for those of our ilk is "evil". I revel in this title of "Evil".

Evil is strength. Evil is righteousness. Evil is the path that leads to
greatness. And when all men are Great, *then* and *only then* will there
be a true peace within Achaea. A peace that is based upon the mutual
respect between one Great man and another -- nae a peace that is based upon
protection of the weak and insane, upon the popular perception of "fairness"
and "right".

It is not the title of "Evil" that we contest -- on the contrary, we relish
it, as we know full well what it embodies. It is the misconception that
"Evil" is wrong that we debate. This is the mistake that we shall correct.

With the Best Regards,
Infernal Raajin, Knight of the Iron Citadel

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Daedalan, in the year 236 AF.
