Elentari, let me preface this by saying I am glad that if peace is to be forced upon us, that you are the author of the terms. I have never met you to my knowledge, and I do not feel you to be sympathetic to either side.
The Infernals believe strongly in evolution. We believe in growth through conflict. Without conflict, the world is stagnant and will die a slow miserable death. If progress means that the chruch grows stronger in a period of time, then let it happen. If the general feeling in Achaea is that the Church needs confinement, then I ask you and the Deities to let that happen as well. The Infernals, (and Im sure all of Ashtan) are Achaeans and want what is best for Achaea.
This is the second time in a short period of time, that peace has been "pushed down our throats". This current conflict is not merely idle hands seeking a workshop, but a sincere effort on the behalf of the Infernals at least, to improve the quality of Achaea by persecuting some of its undesirables. I hope that whatever you decide Elentari, that you allow for some conflict to continue. The end of conflict is the end of Achaea.
