I would just like to complement Bobby for his own bravery and directness. Being 53 years old to date, I can tell you that this war inbetween Ashtan and the Church/Shallam is older than any of us. I was not very surprised by Napoleon's declaration of war, though the effect it has had on the city of Shallam and the status of their Shrines has really surprised me. But what I would just like to say is that we drop what few pretenses we have remaining and, well... just kill each other off allready! The Occultists kill little children, the orphans of Ashtan, and use pieces of them in their experiments. Infernals claim to have some sort of "code of honour", but back in my day honor didn't allow you to hunt down people who didn't want to fight you after they refused your "challenge" and then decapitating them and eating their dead body in order to steal the life essence... and then use that essence to gain more essence.
