war

As I recall, it was not us who started this war. Nor was it us
issuing ultimatums and publicly posting threats about the outcome
if we didn't cede to thy will.
Quite simply, those in Ashtan who pushed for this war are the
ones responsible for the 'madness and scarring' occuring in our
land.
We like to live our lives in peace too you know, but its kind
of difficult when 4 guilds and a city publicly state they going
to destroy you. Naturally, we resist that, and if we are doing
a good job and making our persecutors pay for their folly, then
I say rage on. Rage until those who have their heads so far
buried into the sands of stupidity, greed and self-importance
finally realise that their decision have come back upon them
If Ashtan wanted peace, they would not have made ridiculous
demands. Its called provocation, and when the Church didn't
rise to the bait, they declared war anyway.
To all those suffering, I suggest you browse back through the
scrolls kept here, and read them again - with an open mind.
Penned by my hand on the 14th of Phaestian, in the year 234 AF.
