You are right. It is murder. I dont think that fact can be disputed.
I have a question however, concerning murder. I will set up the question by giving some details leading up to the situation I question.
I was involved in a Mass Battle, before I left my guild, and forsake the ways of the church completely. I fought for the 'Dark' side and I believe we won. It wasnt teaming, or jumping, both sides had equal forces, and they both knew the other was coming.
Up until this point, I had never 'jumped' anyone, or 'teamed' anyone. I was simply fighting for the glory of battle, and to feel alive. I hurt no one personally, and did nothing unhonourable
About a week later, Kiyosa, and Dingo decide they should get together and kill me. Unaware of thier presence, they came in the room, with blades gleaming. Thier faces dripped with hate, for they struck me down, spit on my corpse, and told me to sit there and burn about it.
Burn I did. For my question to you is, Was I murdered? Or was it in the Name of Righteousness, or the Name of Light, that I was teamed and jumped by 2 people I had never laid a hand on? The look of wicked pleasure that was printed on thier face haunts me to this day, and I sense nothing Holy, or Just was done in thier acts.
If you have read my posts in Shallam when I was a citizen there, you would note that this is not the first time, I have had members within the church take away my freedom by abusing thier powers. I think I recieved an apology once, forced by the Sultan.
If they continue to get away with such acts, and mask them as Holy, then I will take the label of 'Evil' anyday, so I may keep this facade of Light to a minimum. The church as a whole would be a lot more respectable institution, if the people who chose to represent it were of the same Spirit that the Church was founded in
