Public News Post #2982

Dalamar

Written by: Drakul, Spectre of Darkness
Date: Monday, November 15th, 1999
Addressed to: Arch-Justiciar Zaklin, Dragon of Light

A simple post, directed at a simple-minded person.

You claim Dalamar is no longer part of the church. Yes, it is true
that he does not belong to the Paladins guild, but is it the guild
that makes the church? Paladins or Priests? No. It is your beliefs
is it not?

Oh, wait, let me guess, that is only true in situations where it aides
you and your foolish brethren.

So, if it is true that your beliefs are what name you part of the
church, then Dalamar is a member of the church. If it is not your
beliefs, well then sir, perhaps the fact each and every one of you
protect that foolish child whenever he cries should constitute him as
part of you church. Obviously if the church protects him, and helps
him attack one single person with five or six members in your party,
then he must be counted as part of the church. Else, how would you
explain such devotion to him?

The church constitutes of many people sharing the same beliefs, does
that hold true at all times, or just, as stated, when you want it to?

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Chronos, in the year 233 AF.
