Hail Sarapis!
I feel there is a misunderstanding between the mortal guilds and
Sarapis, whose mind may be hard to know in it's infinite reach.
I dare to interpret Sarapis' words, dangerous as that is, in that
no guild should *close* their doors to new members.
However, I feel that perhaps some have prayed to Sarapis with
complaints that are ill-founded. A young man to me a couple months
ago, and after I killed a black rat, asked me for it. Apparently he
needed it as part of a quest. Being wise in his youth, he knew he
could not kill one, but he did trade me lesser rats in exchange for
the black one.
Thus I hope he was able to join the guild of his quest. So then,
guilds should always be open, but may look to select their members
carefully. If no representatives of a guild are in Achaea, then it
is stated that Gods may place a new one into that guild. If that
new one does not live (and die) with the standards of that guild,
then certainly it is (as I understand it) the right of the guild to
remove them.
So I ask of Sarapis, and the guildmasters, have I laid out what both
sides agree is the way this should be handled?
In deference to Sarapis and my Elders,
