Since it is painfully clear that many misinformed people are accusing
Occultists of being "evil" or at war with the priesthood or, and I must
laugh at this, actually consume hearts of others, let me assure you that
our scholarly studies lead to nothing more than the enlighment of the
soul. It is those who blindly and blithely follow the dogmatic precepts
of organized religion, who do not think for themselves, who foresake
individuality in favor of oblivious obedience to the tyranny of certain
cults, these are the ones that you must beware of!

As for Count Harlequin's request for hearts of those who have fallen in
battle, let me assure you that he altruistically undertaking an Occult
study whereby we are endeavoring to cure many serious ailments. These
experiments must necessitate a need for hearts in order to further the
advancement of medical science. In that vein, if you are interested in
furthering this Occult cause for the good of the realm, please feel free
to donate hearts to me and I will make sure they are used for this much
needed and necessary experiment.
