hatred. . . . tthhwwwpppp!

Your quote: "There is no more constructive emotion than hatred."
A man may hate something so fiercely he dedicates his life to opposing it, and true, strengthens himself in order that he may better strive to overcome the object of his hatred. In so doing, he weakens himself those things which lie beyond the object of his hatred: he has given up the noble concept of the drive to become the complete man. Trust not in your hatred, for in the end it shall betray thee. Trust in thy love.

Okay, this was just a pretense to deliver a poem, although more of a song in this case. Beware the bard from Wolfhaven!

-------------------------She's Got Something-------------------------

She's got something in her eyes that shines from her soul
With a single look she turns coppers into gold
When she smiles the wind changes direction
The stars sometimes fall to gain her affection
(serious getting down on the ole' harpstrings)
She's got something. . . .oooohhh, she's got something
She doesn't need me to tell it to you
Just take a look and you'll know that it's true
She's got something
(strong flourish of the harp followed by a brief silence)
Ask her name and Halcyon is what she'd tell
You could say she's my sun and be right as well
Can't believe the gods didn't make her immortal
The newbies see her face and give up their "portals"
(serious getting down on the ole' harpstrings)
She's got something. . . .oooohhh, she's got something
She doesn't need me to tell it to you
Just take a look and you'll know that it's true
(strong flourish of the harp followed by a brief silence)
More fair than any bird that flies in the sky
You'll forget about your quest if she just walks by
This shaggy old wolf just doesn't understand
Why Halcyon has chosen him to be her man
(serious getting down on the ole' harpstrings)
She's got something. . . .oooohhh, she's got something
She doesn't need me to tell it to you
Just take a look and you'll know that it's true
She's got something
(serious getting down on the ole' harpstrings)
(strong flourish of the harp followed by a brief silence)

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Lupar, in the year 229 AF.
