Oakstone

I have been away from the land for a short time, and I regret that I have missed out on the events which have recently transpired between the Oakstone and Portis. I also regret that my path has never crossed that of Portis, but I feel that now would be a good time for us to talk. I extend an invitation for you, Portis, to come to Wolfhaven and discuss matters with me.
A few observations. . . .

In the past, I thought I knew something of chaos, the ideal of what it was, what it encompassed, and so forth. Eris educated me, showing me my knowledge was far from complete. If you seek to instruct Vastar on matters of the sky, you travel the same road. Better to try to teach a boot about leather. My point is, the gods are supreme in their areas, if not without. Does anyone seek to instruct Gaia on matters of nature? Your time would be far better spent ratting.

We are a bunch of ninnies, are we? That matter has yet to be decided, I think, but perhaps I could educate at least a few on this matter. . . .

The Oakstone is the newest entity in the land. We are still somewhat getting our feet wet, but I would think Portis was enemied for what she did to the forest. I have explained in the past, we are not like a city, we do not enemy those for personal reasons. If the Oakstone went back on its promise to unenemy you, Portis, let me ask this: did you replant the areas you were supposed to? I though you posted that someone had beaten you to part of what you were to do. If this is true, you did not complete what you had agreed upon, no matter what the reason was for it. There are plenty of other shops in the land, and until this is resolved, one way or another, I do not think any other than a shopowner would suffer from a particular shop, or group of shops, going out of business or being short on herbs. Gaia has given us a gift with herbs, and it is hers to take away at her whim. Let none of us forget that.
