Enorian's Fall

My, what a little set up Enorian has. I would like everyone to look back
on the post declaring war against Ashtan. Now I would like everyone to
flip some scrolls back and look at Duiran stealing land while Ashtan is
under attack. Now, would everyone please read the quite informative list
of Daelar's actions. Thank for participating as this will impact my next
statements.

In the post against Ashtan, the leader of Enorian claimed war with
Ashtan was neither for personal gain or for territory, but to free the
Ashtan people from Lady Chakrasul. Now, if I was ever going to free
anyone, which I think will not happen in the immediate future, I would
take the most direct and forceful route there. Now, for another little
fact, I would like anyone with the time to simple start from the North
of Trees and to walk in any direction after reading this post. Notice
anything strange? Enorian armies aren't just heading for Ashtan, but
taking time to take every other territory Ashtan controls. Now, passing
Forest by Seasone is going the _opposite_ way, correct?

Now, before declaring war against Ashtan, Enorian not only waited until
it's Overseer was garden plant but had a traitor lock the Ashtanite
armies in a storeroom, rob it's bank and supplies, and then seek refuge
in Enorian, which the Enorian people willingly gave and then proceeded
to make war against Ashtan. What high handed tactics you have, Enorian!
Even your leader, whom declared this war, belongs to a Guild that
follows Lord Arion. Tell me Enorian, where has your Valor gone? It seems
Enorian seeks to copy the teachings of Lady Chakrasul with every move
they make. I find it insulting that those whom _don't_ dedicate their
lives to Corruption do better at it than myself. I must not be trying
hard enough.

And next we have Duiran, which not only makes war against Ashtan in the
crusade to save the "land from the rapage of the cities", but to
strengthen itself in the process. How bold of Duiran to strike at a sick
and feeble thing just being to grow some backbone. And Duiran wishes to
save the land from cities? Bah, Enorian has more land than any city to
date, in my personal opinion, than any other. But that would require
effort, bloodloss, and suffering for Duiran which it clearly doesn't
wish to partake. At least Bloodloch marched through the front gate of a
well defended city instead of relying on weakness and traitors to win
it's wars. It seems every other city in this war should learn by
example.

Next we have Daelar, who has betrayed numorous cities and Guilds
throughout his life time. I'm personally surprised he still has any
political life left, but then so did Strung and Belgarion strangely
enough. It seems some peoples memories are a tad shallow now and then.
But does this misplaced trust pardon the actions of the rest? Hardly, I
say. A thief who steals from a crippled man is still a thief, even if
another stole from the man first. I relished the chance for revenge
against a city whose actions resulted in my Guild leaving, but this war
was baseless from the begining and unhonorable in it's conduct, reasons,
and most truely it's tactics. The Paladins have disappointed me before
as foes, but I don't think a memember of that Guild has done so before
with such a shallow gesture.

I pray that Lord Arion will see the wrongs being done and way lost from
those that seek His teachings, and that Ashtan's armies and supplies
might be returned to them so that this war can be fought honorably. I
fear though that such will never happen, since Enorian has neither the
desire nor will to fight a foe capable of defending itself sufficently.
If Enorian really wishes to face the full might of Corruption, Bloodloch
is simply a village away. Care to try?
