Here are a few notes and upcoming events, as well as notes on event etiquette.

EVENT ETIQUETTE
===============
I know it is impossible to completely phase out background noises from events, but let's do our part to be respectful of presenters and to audiences.


1. KEEP NOISES (AND SMELLS) TO A MINIMUM DURING PRESENTATIONS:
- Wipe away perfumes and colognes

- Applying salves, smoking, and so on

- Don't bring plushes that require care and make noises
when they're being "neglected"


2. DURING EVENTS, PRESENTERS AND PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BE SAFE:
I am not responsible for happenings OUTSIDE of events but while an event is happening, its location should be considered a no-violence space (unless is some sort of arena event). This includes within the Asterian Restoration AND outside event venues while the event is occurring. Please also refrain from implicit threats of violence during events, such as equipping weapons, readying spells, and so on.

Keep in mind:
- Your right to speak is protected on premises during events.

- Others also have the right to speak and challenge.

- The Restoration is not responsible for consequences to one's
actions, reactions to words said, and so on.

- The Director of Planning (me, Mhuswys):
- Is not responsible for establishing the quality or veracity
of events ahead of time. Presenters are responsible for
their own research.
- Takes a stance that debate and discussion is worthwhile -
it is a chance to share and learn.
- Welcomes comment and critique directed to themself (Mhuswys)
should you want to share your thoughts.

"Join the Somnia in a revival of the Festival of Masks where you can bring your own mask or share in the ones provided. "Sail briefly upon a ship from Thraasi harbour to Nocturne's Reach, then discuss and display a piece of Darkwalker history that most know nothing about: the formation of Nocturne's Reach and the partnership between pirates and Darkwalkers."
