Asterian Festival of Celebration - Almost a year to go!

Greetings, all! It is now Aeguary 1017 AF. The Asterian Festival begins on Scarlatan 1018 AF! This means there is basically ONLY a year until the event! Trust me, 12 months goes by QUICKLY. Here are a few notes for now!

Keep an eye out on your city/village/order/guild news for upcoming events to be excited for! Tell others about what you're excited for!

There is still space available for more carts! If you would like to have a market cart on the Asterian Peninsula during the event year (Scarlatan 1018 - Scarlatan 1019), please refer to the form in PUBLIC news 23151!
I will no longer be accepting cart applications after 25 Mayan 1017 AF!

!! DEADLINE !! The end of Mayan 1017 AF - After this I (Mhuswys) will no longer be accepting event/schedule information, cart registrations, etc. Except in extenuating circumstances.
You still have up until your event to get your planning in and get the word out if you're a city/village/order/etc. planner, but make sure you have your schedule finalized before the end of the year! In particular, we need...
- Event title
- Event short description
- Event date

Historian Jurixe tips
=====================
A few tips from Historian Jurixe, which she posted in the Asterian Restoration clan for the main planners:
- Are your events highlighting practices that are important in your culture?
- Try to not run events back-to-back; some events will go over, or too many events in a row can cause fatigue.
- Cities and the village should be aiming for 4-5 events over their month.
- Settings should be held in neutral locations. The Asterian Restoration is available as well. Balls could be held in the Hall of Visionaries or the Golden Aster.
- Build interest in events early!! She suggests the Market channel, Public posts, and posters to get the message out.
- Reminder that events with a script/presentation/etc. should have a copy logged for long-term recordkeeping. This will go to Mhuswys!
