I wish to be transparent with you, even if my wish to join Mhaldor is now impossible. I hope it is not, and I hope that over time I can somehow prove myself. I am certainly now starting off quite a bit more humble than I had been when I approached Mhaldor earlier in the month.

I am NOT a Darkwalker, though I will admit to being a follower, and pursuit towards that having been a goal of mine, but it is not something I have attained.

I admit, I have not fully accepted the idea of following only Evil. My hope was that during enslavement I would find that purpose, or leave if I could not make that oath.

I truly do see Mhaldor as a place where I can continue growing, and that I have been stagnant in Hashan. And I admit my error in trying to grasp to a previously held commitment that has meant a lot to me, even though I have never been good enough to be part of the Order proper.

Over my time in Mhaldor I have come to respect and look up to many citizens there, including yourself. I was and am sincere in wishing to test myself and see if I have what it takes to be Mhaldorian. I did not intend to disappoint you, and in a way that weighs on me the most. In my immaturity I have proven to myself that I am even less prepared than I had thought. I have lost everything now. But perhaps this is the appropriate place to start.
