In keeping with my previous announcement, I have created a clan for the Restoration of the Glorious Rians. Any Rian in good standing is welcome to join, but I warn you that the road to glory is not an easy one; there will be much work required of you and only the exceptional will prevail.

I am not surprised that negotiations have failed to resolve this matter; I write posts frequently enough to know that words costs nothing. Antipatriarch Eril and Confused-but-well-meaning Menetta: you have my respect for speaking up in defense of our family. To the inconsequential Grakhir: I hope somebody takes away your quill before you hurt yourself. You are an embarrassment. Finally, to the Knight Arbiter: thank you for voicing your support, but I should like to keep this family matter as private as possible.

Where words have failed, there is still hope for other solutions: blood settles all disputes. I have thrice fought for and once won my name in the Kashari tournaments, and now I shall fight again for the Rian name. As the Patriarch of the Glorious Rians, I declare myself open to attack by all False and Degraded Rians until such a time as the schism is ended and the family is reunited under one banner. If you do not feel confident attacking me alone, you may bring as many of your family as you feel you need and I will not seek retribution if you are successful in slaying me.

For those outside the family that wish to join the Glorious Rian lineage, know that martial prowess is not the only skill we value; anybody who has demonstrated competence in any field, or who is working hard to achieve said competence may apply. I look forward to collaborating with my brothers and sisters and building a legacy worthy of the Rian name.
