I don't normally post here but things have come to a point where people need to know what is happening. Apologies if this goes long.

At what cost, Cyrene, do you make deals with known a known thief and repeated enemy?

A fine? Was that distributed to the shop owners who were both attempted victims and actual victims of this person? No.

Why was this even considered when he attempted to steal from no less than 4 citizens in the year leading up to this "deal"? How many others did not report it because they lacked faith in the Senate to do anything about it?

An un-enemying of that same person that immediately entered and taunted the Minister of Defense? How that was a mishandling of an enemy status no one can ever explain. But to actually reverse it, is madness. The same MoD that brought you kicking and screaming to Empire, quite the thank you, indeed.

Taking the word of this liar and thief that he will help Cyrene with the World Games? Trash that even Ashtan threw out? What is there to hold him to this? If anything, and mark my words, he WILL work against Cyrene. Were there any restrictions put on him? Apparently not as he immediately harassed as noted above, was he also asked to not steal again, no.

Did the Senate feel that Faerum and Cyrene would not prevail? So little faith in not only Faerum but its own citizenry.

Seems quite naive, wanting the Staff is not worth the integrity of the Senate nor Cyrene. The citizenry continues to be disserviced in private with no explanations offered.

Cyrene endeavors to make Lord Twilight proud as things continue to be handled in Shadow.
