To the Victors

Sir,

"The scraps have been picked clean of this particular carcess for some time now, that even the flies and buzzards have dispersed to the winds in search of something more deserving their attentions. It is time to leave it's sun bleached bones where they lie and do the same."

Never have I read a Knight writing something as lungsdestroying, before.

And yet, I would have been even more surprised if it had come from Eleusis, Targossas, Hashan, Ashtan and Mhaldor.

Sir, you outlined it was less about what Riahns views were, but how he was saying them, that earned him the exile.

Punishments were handed out also to very calm natured people. Kasotus head was piked above the Palace, seemingly preserved in saltwater, in a way that was visible worldwide. Triton Assassins were sent after the former Senator, a widely respected person, more than once.

And Riahn and Kasotus are just examples. A number of long term Cyrenese left in pain. A number of Cyrenese remain, in pain.

Sir, I think it is time to admit that the Cyrenian evolution towards its new position within the Empire of Thalassa was amazingly well prepared and impressively executed not only by long term citizens of Cyrene very much in support of this future, but also by those who quickly moved to Cyrene to become strong part of this new city with outstanding divine leadership.

Sir, I feel you have earned the right to openly celebrate that those wishing for Cyrene to not become the Oceanus Gate never stood a chance.

The victors heartbeats were faster and more powerful, their thoughts more energetic and sharp, their dedication better organized.

And Victors Justice followed. And Victor's history.

Best wishes,

Laras, MD.

PS.:
In memoriam of my brother Sir Roncli, friends as Sir Alban, Lady Deeva, Sir Draekar, Sir Zenui, Sir Alinoe, Sir Iskla, Lady Ferrous, Sir Aaseth, Lady Trenia, Sir Wyverex, as well as dear acquaintances as Sir Kakokas, Sir Questron, Sir Meahnem, Dame Ariettie, Dame Mayapple, Sir Goryllin and also Sir Latus, the Goat, I am hereby sending love to all those of you who might be watching from other shores.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Chronos, in the year 999 AF.
