On the matter of the trial of Skye B. Anchors

To whomsoever it may concern:

Lo-da'i,

I would like to present myself as a witness in favour of the defendant, Skye B. Anchors. I can confirm that her version of events in Public News Post #22862 is accurate.

Just before the wedding, Skye reached out to me to inform me that she had been hired at the last minute to cater the wedding, and that she had been paid handsomely to do so. She wanted to ask me what Queen Alianna might like to eat, and what some appropriate dishes would be to serve during the wedding.

When I noted the lateness of the hour, she informed me that the letter stated that the king had hired a catering company in Meropis, and that the ship carrying this bountiful feast had fallen victim to a pirate ship flying the banner of Pirates of Meropis. We chatted about how strange this was. Then we discussed the lack of a wedding cake and she decided to take it upon herself to cater that too, so as not to upset the queen. Since she does not have many vegetarian dishes in her repertoire, I agreed to cater the vegetarian dishes at her request.

I shall bear witness at the trial.

In Service to the Earthmother,

Lady Ilsefi Stormsong

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Sarapin, in the year 998 AF.
