Dr. Laras Op'shae,
Your insolence goes far beyond the bounds of your wisdom. One so ignorant as you, it is no surprise, for one circle is drawn much smaller than the other.
How dare you come onto these boards and give me an order? How dare you lump me in with this wretched creature, Two Cups? How dare you impugn not only myself but the very woman whose honor you try to defend? She does not need you to protect her. She is gone, now.
A lesson, then, to hopefully ameliorate the ignorance:
Queen Celaabi, Martyr of the Tsol'aa, was the finest of her people. There was no better in the Aalen Kingdom. She was not murdered. She lived a life marked by strife and Hardship for nearly a millenia, and in the end, that did not break her. In the end, she chose Strength and Cruelty when that choice finally found her. She was not murdered in cold blood, stricken in the dark of the night and cast aside like Keleyn was.
Queen Celaabi came to me and offered herself up in place of her people. Her son was too wretched at that time, too weak, to take responsibility for his actions and do what had to be done. Too meek to accept the consequences of his actions. In his place, she came to me, and she took it onto herself. In this moment, she did what she had never been able to do: she chose the course of her life.
Never come onto these boards again, not you nor any other, and leap at my throat in her name. You disgrace her memory. You spit on her grave. You speak of this woman's most triumphant moment and you reduce it to a mere moment of despair, when in truth, she did not. Though her death was painful and egregious, it was meaningful in ways you clearly cannot comprehend. She chose this. It was not forced upon her.
A second, lesson, to ameliorate your ignorance: You will soon understand the difference between sacrifice and murder. Know you brought this on yourself.
