Hello fellow mortals!
Oh my, we sure do talk a lot! So many words holding what I notice to be a strong lack of space for others to contribute, or for solutions to be found within the ceaseless declamations of rights and rigor, and exclamations of mights and vigour.
Let me offer my advice on how to correct this sad shortfall in our communication.
It often comes about that we might all benefit from the open exchange of knowledge and experience, or 'wisdom', if you're consistent enough to qualify for such.
This is something many whom hold parts of greater truths are hesitant to do. I sense that this is often because they believe that they hold so little else within themselves that they could lose their identity or value if their 'secrets' were freely shared. This is results from inaccurate self-assessment, or in the most extreme and tragic cases, self-fulfilling doubts and foolishness kept raw.
It may even follow that one doubts one's worth due to viewing these 'secrets' as part of themselves, rather than the experiences they truly are.
It also follows, following a cursory examination of our world, that amongst the myriad Purposes for the Nature of Creation sits the "sharing" of this "experience".
I have also noted that fear and doubts, especially of this insidious, cognitive sort, have contributed heavily to the loss of countless great minds and groups, from the silent hands held by those we've never met, to the thrones of once great Empires, to the one's we're yet to fail.
Why, and perhaps whether, this is so could be debated to the doors of Creville, and I suggest not dwelling too deeply therein, but the lesson to be derived are clear all the same:
Shared Experience is worth more than Personal Experience.
To some it is a farce of rages and joys. To others it is as serious as Desire and Love.
Only those who think either side is wrong can ever be proven incorrect.
If you feel this is obvious, good! I know you will also see the value it stating it plainly.
If you feel I have multiple motives for stating this so plainly, you are correct.
The one I will reveal is this:
Until the Second Millennium A.F. rolls over us, I offer to play the most ancient and simple game with anyone who wishes.
I will embrace any question or concern within my mortal purview with the totality of my experiences and share any wisdom derived openly, regardless of who inquires.
I will not lie, but I give no assurance of being correct. I only promise to be as direct and honest as my (often wild) mind allows.
My hope is that each question evolves into a broader discussion, but I will hold none to this expectation.
All subjects of reasonable taste are welcome, but I do request a general sense of decorum and clarity for curses.
This offer is only for my fellow adventuring mortals. Divine can already contact me with whatever They seek and there are simply too many curious denizens. I already answer questions from half a dozen squirrels and thrice again in skunks per day and, far though He be, Lord Aeon's grace remains steady. If any denizen truly needs my most mild wisdom, simply convince an adventuring soul to play for you.
I am willing to discuss the gods, but I will not help you decide upon your crises of faith, as I am only capable of discussing Divinity in the most vaguely adoring, and genuinely opinionated, terms. Examples that I will discuss at greater depth include my thoughts on the supremacy of Lord Vastar's hair, Lady Pandora's amazing skin tone, Lady Lorielan's entire aesthetic, and/or why I think discerning the most physically attractive Divine is basically impossible, even after having seen Lord Scarlatti. I also love to discuss the phenomenological nature of Divine Realms, but know that I will actively avoid judging their necessity irrespective of the weave held between them all, as The All. I do not pretend to understand Lord Sarapis' plans, but I think through the sharing of a grand but subtle pulse, most of us grasp critical parts of it.
I do not care for the definition games played by the dogmatic and those incapable of genuine discourse. If some point arises where the definition of a basic term is clearly not agreed upon, that term must be resolved or replaced before the game may continue in earnest.
I will not directly help you to act against another power, force, city or faction.
Indirect assistance may occur. I will ever seek to balance this risk with the measured exacting of the following price upon all questioners, regardless of inquiry:
You must answer (at least) one of three questions I ask in return. I will not ask the same question twice, nor attempt to reword a tertiary question to claim an answer for a denied question. That is to say, you have the right to request two unique, alternative questions and, if necessary, pick between all three presented options. This can be for any reason, be it you cannot, will not or should not answer a particular question. I will not employ this right myself, thought I may ask for the questioner to confirm my understanding of their question prior to answering. My third optional 'question' may be a request for information on an experience that has to yet occur, such as upcoming dreams or crossed paths with new people.
The dialogue may be in tells, or messages, but I ask that you do not switch medium once established without prior consent from both parties. If you feel you need a letter, please refine your thoughts or add to the ever growing list of nigh-unreadable public postings that this very missive contributes to.
This isn't a trick and the rules are simpler than all the listed terms and caveats suggest!
We communicate
Openly
About whatever matters to us
Hopefully, we both learn something
So come, join me in this mild emulation of the first dances that the gods enjoyed, before there were even swords to swing.
Play this game with me and let us learn something together.
Something worth carrying on for another thousand years.
