the heart's home

I have lived for a long time in this world. I had the priviledge to live through various eras and battles, and meet many people - both people whom I, unfortunately, have not been able to speak to in a long or shorter time, and people whom I fortunately am still able to speak to.
I have always felt what makes this creation so very wonderful was the ability to help shape it, in many small ways.
For a number people, the feeling of home, of being allowed to help shape one's home, is a very important part of a life. I have met many mortals with deep deep loyalty to the organizations they chose to give their hearts, minds and bodies to.
They cannot easily leave homes behind, even if this would make their life easier. They have grown very strong roots. They cannot easily join other citystates, other orgs. It would cut them in half, or worse.
Yes, everything is constantly evolving.
But please do not squeeze the life out of life.
Most here are way stronger than me, way more active, way more capable, way more talented, way less exhausted, way less fearful.
I am aware of this.
I am also aware that my life is small, compared to the lives of most others.
Once a very active member of Shallam, then Eleusis, and losing both homes against my will, I unfortunately had to reach the understanding that if I joined another citystate in the contemporary world, I would expose myself to the risk of maybe eventually ending up losing yet another home. Which would harm my heart too much.
Anger seems so likely to flow into anything, at any time, nowadays, I feel?
It is lonely to live without one's roots being able to remain rooted. It is lonely to live without the hope one is allowed to help shape one's home.
Please do not push people into silence.
Please hold eachother dear.
