Apologies

King Tu'eras,
I am saddened to hear of your village's plight. It upsets me to think of all the effort we put forth to keep the Aalen free from influence only to see Cyrene be the ones to turn around and conquer the very ground we shed blood to protect.
I'd like to apologize if my words during our interactions nearly a century ago implied an oath that Cyrene would never harm your village. That was not my intent, nor my place to promise. It was something I hoped for, but if my hope led you to take that peace as a permanent fixture, then I ask forgiveness for the ambiguity of my words.
As I did when Eleusis conquered your village in 955AF, I have been reaching out to those with influence in Cyrene to try to get them to reverse course. I will continue to do so in the hope that your village will be freed.
