On Whato's Unshakable Certainty

It is a rare comfort to see such steadfast confidence gracing our public notices. A voice so assured, so utterly convinced of its own rectitude, that even the seas themselves might part out of sheer exhaustion at the prospect of dealing with her. Thato, as ever, demonstrates that a lack of doubt can be mistaken for virtue if one moans it loudly enough.

Her conviction in the guilt of othersa conduct, much like her talent for both believing and peddling thirdhand information, is nothing short of miraculous. To read intention from parchment alone, to divine moral impurity between the lines of a recipe, it is a gift few possess and fewer still would dare to display so publicly.

Still, ita admirable in its own way. Some chart their course by reason, others by the dint of whatever floats nearest on the tide. And though her sails may be patched with secondhand certainty and thirdhand wit, they do manage to catch the wind spectacularly.
