In the spirit of a majority of the last few public posts, I am announcing my own contest.


Cabbage, being of great nutritional value and certainly better than that lesser vegetable lettuce, is underrepresented in our feasts. It is rumored that there is even a cabbage named Cabby which cures any plague. I myself seek to meet this semi-hemi-partially royal cabbage, but it is not to be. Not yet.

For the next year from this posting and likely a short time after as a grace period, I will be paying a credit for each item delivered unto me which contains cabbage. This must be delivered in a signed letter, and all liquids, soups, and other messy contributions must be in a container of some kind. Please do not pour cabbage soup into an envelope with no bowl and expect it to arrive intact. Also, If I can't taste or smell the cabbage in it, it doesn't count.

Only the first of any specific recipe will count. If i receive something from you that I've already tried, I will endeavor to contact you via message and let you know.
