Consultation with Illindira of Aster Malik has resulted in the following;

The plagues symptoms and progression are consistent with a disease known as the Mysian Rot.

This is an ancient plague, but the cures are at least known.

Three fruits thought to be extinct were used to cure it. They are
1) Blood Oranges
2) Royal Lemons
3) Striped Limes

And you know what, it might be a false memory on my part, but I swear I've seen a couple of those around.

Information related to sourcing such treasures and putting this mess behind us would be greatly appreciated.
