Hello! It is I, your local healthy, heroic and generally pretty auctioneer!

As the Asterian Restoration's Historical Art and Artifacts Auction draws nearer, we now release pertinent details about the event and upper limit bidding.

Firstly key dates (You may also refer to UPCOMING):
13 Valnuary 978AF: The Historical Art and Artifacts Auction (I) begins
22 Valnuary 978AF: The Historical Art and Artifacts Auction (II) begins

Our lots now number in the forties! For sake of time management (else you will have to change your citizenship to Delosian!) we have divvied them up between two auction sessions. Technical difficulties not withstanding, they will both be conducted LIVE at the Delosian Auction House! Please take a moment to peruse the HELP scroll regarding the AUCTIONHOUSE, particularly on live auctions!

For sake of brevity in this post, the lists of lots being auctioned for each session and their starting bids will be posted separately in the next few days. You may also find details on starting bids already added to the brochures and to the display case images in the gallery at the Anchors Acreage in the Shamtota Hills (coordinates 56264 on most maps). If you have not yet visited for a preview, now's a good time to do so!

INFORMATION ON UPPER LIMIT BIDDING:
If you are unable to attend the auction and cannot find a proxy to help you bid, we will also accept upper limit bidding in advance starting TODAY!

Send a LETTER to me (SKYE), with a list of the items you wish to bid on, your upper limit (maximum intended) bid for each item, AND THE GOLD OR CREDITS IN ADVANCE.

Naturally, if you are outbid, all legal tender will be returned to you, and if you win, all unused legal tender will also be returned to you.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS:
If you are the cautious sort, you will not require to have your gold on hand for bids during the auction. The Delosian Auction House will liaise automatically with your local bank for any gold transactions.

If you purchase a unique art piece, please be reminded (and we will remind again) to liaise with the artist to make arrangements regarding the custody of the design. We have already advised artists of their options in this matter, from provision of a certificate of one-of-a-kind authenticity to actual transfer of design ownership. Please work out between yourselves an arrangement that is comfortable for both.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CONTRIBUTORS:
We will endeavour to calculate and distribute payment by mail after resolution of each session.

We look forward to seeing you on the auction floor!
