Hail, Sapience.

The Asterian Restoration is proud to announce the start of the second Asterian Festival of History. We express our thanks to all, mortal and Divine, who joined us for the opening ceremony at the Hall of Visionaries.

Just as the Festival commences, so do we return to the genesis of our world.

[ AGE OF PROTEUS ]

Our story begins with Lord Ayar, the Creator. He created the universe and aught within, including the Elder Gods and their Aldar servants. Later, He split a portion of Himself into Lord Proteus to experience Creation, and the Gods began expanding their influences and creating life forms.

All was peaceful until Chaos entered Creation, sparking the birth of Humans. This led to the formation of the Triumvirate, the War of Humanity, the arrival of the Dragons, the incursion of Entropy and Discord, and the restoration of Lords Ayar and Proteus into Lord Sarapis.

= EVENTS =

Look forward to presentations on Elder Gods such as Lords Scarlatti, Phaestus, Babel, and Twilight along with Ladies Valnurana and Gaia from Their followers. See UPCOMING for more information.

The first of four Seleucarian locations will be transported to the Asterian Restoration this month, opposite the small chapel. Be certain to visit.

= JOURNAL =

Your Festival participation will be tracked - by yourself - in a journal of your choosing. To qualify as completing this Age, you must cover at least ONE (1) of the following in your designated journal:

1. Attend any of the presentations or exhibits and write down your thoughts on what you saw, heard and learned.

or

a) Explore: Visit the sixth circle of Nur, the City Forever of the Aldar, OR travel to a world you have never visited before on the Tree of Yggdrasil. Sketch or paint a location from your destination, and explain why you chose it.

b) Engage: Participate in a Restoration-run King of the Hill arena event reminiscent of the two factions fighting in the War of Humanity, OR play a Game of Humanity on the game board in Siorraidh, temple of Lady Lorielan in the Shamtota Hills. Write about your experience.

c) Educate: In Nur, convince the being Eros to yield stories about the Divine, and write your thoughts down. OR, write a profile on an Aldar, focusing on their significance to history. Information can be found in the Mythos and other sources.

You may complete more than one task if you wish. This journal, ultimately, records your journey and growth.

Note: These tasks can be completed at any time, so long as it is before the end of the Festival. You do not need to complete Age of Proteus tasks only in this Age, as we understand schedules can be unaccommodating. Events, of course, are time-limited.

= MISCELLANEOUS =

1. The Grand Bazaar for the Festival begins! Explore the largest bazaar in modern history upon the Asterian Peninsula, with around 25 carts stocking wares and goods from all over Sapience. See Public news #22289, or the poster at the portal on Meropis.

2. View the artwork and curios on display at the gallery of the Anchors Acreage in the Shamtota Hills (coordinates 56264 on most maps), and decide if you want to bid on any during the upcoming Historical Art and Artefacts Auction.

3. We are still accepting applications for the Asterian Masquerade. Information in Public news #22220.
