Sapience,
On behalf of the knights of the Seat of Chaos - the Doomguard - I, Squire Ulvin Devi, invite you to stand your ground in a competition of might and mettle: the Chaotic Melee. In what is now less than a month from the time of this writing, on the 12th of Sarapin, four days until Serenade, the fighters of Sapience will battle until but one remains.
There will be two separate competitions, each hosted in Delos. The first will be a standard arena event following the rules of Free for all, at the end of which the last contestant standing will receive the full reward of 75 credits.
Following the conclusion of this challenge, the second one will begin. It is the hallmark of the Chaotic Melee, a test of tenacity, resilience, might, and wit in a challenge of all against all where no safety nor escape will be given. At the settling of the dust, one will stand above the rest and receive their reward of 75 credits.
The rules of the engagement are few:
- Contestants will all fight each other in close proximity, within the
same place.
- There will be no fleeing - leaving the location shall result in
immediate disqualification.
- Contestants do not astralform, blackwind, phase, or change elevation.
- There will be no second chances. Starbursts, soulcages and such
are not to be used.
- The last takes all. Should more than one breathe their last, their
winnings will be split between them.
Additional details:
- Entry Fee: 20000 sovereigns for the second part of the challenge.
- Sign-ups open: now.
- Sign-ups close: at the start of the Melee.
- Rewards: 75 credits to the victor of each competition.
Stay firm, and bring your best.
In Ruin,
Squire Ulvin Devi, of the Doomguard
Penned by my hand on the 16th of Mayan, in the year 976 AF.
