Wanderer's Choice: Completion and Answers!

Sorry to interrupt this mentally stimulating theological argument, but the Wanderer's Choice competition has now concluded!

I've supplied the answers below as well as the most common incorrect responses for fun. So for any that still want to try at the riddles, cease reading from now!


Riddle 1:
----------

Answer: The Winged Lion, The Serpent, and The Rose, A.K.A The Dance of the Vault

Most common incorrect answer: Somnustra, Lunastra, and Noxtra.

Clues: "Dance dance", "Three hosts", and "Vaulted blue" hint towards The Dance of the Vault and the heavens. "Represent our houses and lords" and "battles eternal within our eternal accords" were references to the many constellations representing divines and events. "Mourn for exalted demise" and "our darkened hearts and your darkened eyes" refer to the stars mourning the loss of Khalas and disappearing from the heavens, no longer able to be seen by our eyes.


Riddle 2:
----------

This one was a bit more trickier!

Answer: Piquin of Loramere

Most common incorrect answer: Raclawice

Clues: "Wanderer" and "Maker of paths" refer to Raclawice who is rumoured to have created the Pathways. "Desire I have had" refers to Her relationship with Eros for a time, and "The bard for one" and "Among their many many others" refers to Eros' many relationships with some Gods and otherwise. "Golden radiance and roguish grin" and "ploy to win" refer to Hermes and the gamble She lost to Him along with Her realm. "Perhaps at least one" refers to Her last known follower/priest. "Find them with the fallen" and "Under an earthen sun" refer to the Church of the Fallen gods in Loramere where drunken Piquin resides and the earthen sun refers to the ochre-colored sun in the land.


Riddle 3:
----------

Exploration-themed! 5 locations to visit.

Answer: New Thera, Great Rock, Aureliana, Tomacula, Temple of Khalas/Pier (some variation of location name is allowed)

Most common incorrect answer: N/a

Clues: "Where stands New that once was old" and "through Summer continue" refer to New Thera and Summer Street. "Past mushrooms and shifting trees" instructs to walk through the black forest. "Great Monolith" and "summon the beast" refer to the Great Rock. "East past rushing waters" refers to the river. "Tranquil region with marauders" and "Avoid any charity" is Aureliana and warns against the thieves there that can trick. The "great body of water" is Lake Vundamere. "Home of once eternal prison" and "Hope long lost arisen" refer to Tomacula where Khalas was imprisoned and later freed. "Find the sign" and "discover what is shrined" refer to the sign at the pier and the Temple of Khalas' entrance there.


Riddle 4:
----------

Answer: The Wyrm of Worlds, Azdun Forest

Most common incorrect answer: Zsarachnor

Clues: "Across the river", "rolling hills", and "Well filled with plots" refer to the Dakhota hills and entrance to Azdun. "Skittering residents", and "Deeper below" refer to the spiders on the first level and advises to go lower. "To the west, another tale of doom" refers to the history of the fall of the Goblinoid people, but "Continue forward to where life miraculously blooms" instructs to go to the underground forest. "Skip past the flora but only once" and "Least you find yourself among those that hate demands" reference the mushroom circle and not to skip down to the fae who hate wishes. "Forgotten scars" and "petrified bars" refer to the room the Wyrm is held in with the petrified tree. "Hatred festering within" and "their hand caused one of the greatest of sins" refers to the Wyrm infecting Gaia with hatred which caused Her later to try and permanently kill Twilight, resulting in Her punishment by the Pantheon.

Answer: Haidion, the Wanderer

Most common incorrect answer: Carme

Clues: "Wanderer they called me" and "of the very first" refers to his title and one of the first modern-day adventurers and explorers. "Village I discovered", and "within found like me another" refer to his discovery of Tomacula village. "Village to later inspire a future guild" refer to the Sentinels guild receiving the help of Etarni of Tomacula to later learn Woodlore. "Into the woods" and "an ancient people with similar views" are when Haidion discovered the ancient Tsol'aa village of the Aalen, he was also a Druid. "Clan long since split" and "one group under the ground" are another hint of the Tsol'aa with the Tsol'teth having gone underground. "Many an exotic people", "lust" and "Several did I father" refers to the rumours that in his travels Haidion had the habit of indulging himself with the natives and fathering several children.


Riddle 6:

Answer: The Wanderer's Beginning

Most common incorrect answer: Nur

Clues: In this riddle, there were small clues to assist with the previous 5 that you may now be able to see more clearly. Otherwise, you had the following: "On the sixth shall be the way" and "where they journey to pray" refers to the sixth circle of Nur where many would go to pray at the many God shrines, you will also find some angels here in prayer. "Pass through each gate" refers to the archways of Nur. "Envious you may find" and "jealous and blind" refer to the blinded angels there are want the power of Saar-elan and immediately turn hostile to any that leap into its power. "Betrayal and despair resides" and "toppled structures where mistakes don't hide" is reference to the Shrine of Khalas on level 6 with broken structures and statues within and the word "MISTAKE" carved inside. "To the centre" and "where he and his heart reigned" is the last room of His shrine known as "The Wanderer's Beginning".
