The Great Joust Returns

Brisk spring tidings, assorted Sapients and travelers alike.
The Guild of Knights extends our invitation to all riders, beast-tamers, and lancers of the lands to take part in the fourth Great Joust of the modern era. This shall take place upon the 2nd of Aeguary, 927 AF.
For more than a thousand years, the joust has played an important role in the culture and traditions of knighthood, from the Ithmias to the Baelgrim and from the Underworld to the farthest reaches of existence.
To take up the lance is to put the fullest of faith in not one one's own abilities and strength, but in the strength of our relationships with our animal companions upon whose backs we ride into battle.
To demonstrate competence and power in both regards is one of the marks of a fine knight, and now, we invite all those capable of riding and wielding a lance to try their hand at defeating the finest lancers of the modern age for prizes, prestige, and glory.
In the spirit of communalism, this tourney will feature a new wrinkle - this time, we will all compete for our respective peoples rather than for ourselves or for our own knightly orders.
There shall be no individual champion; instead, the team with the best winning-percentage against other teams shall be claimed victorious, and shall of course revel in the spoils to follow.

- The Eldritch Empire of Ruin
- The City of Hashan
- The Just Territories of Cyrene
- The Shining Territories of Targossas
- The Implacable Dominion of Mhaldor
- The Uchenny
- The Kubaya
- The Noktov
THE PRIZES (to be paid out to the respective leaders of the winning teams):
1st Place: 200 credits, 1000 steel, the gold-equivalent of 500 obsidian, and the prestigious accolade
afforded to the victors
2nd Place: 150 credits
3rd Place: 100 credits
TO PARTICIPATE:
Send me a message stating your desire to compete AND which team you are competing for. Entries will be closed three months prior to the event to ensure that a decent bracket can be drawn up.
