The Guild of so called Knights

I wish to acknowledge Sir Kinilan (while in no way agreeing with his actions) for enraging the Guild of so called Knights so much. I mean, not that it's hard. I can offer a list of ways to annoy them.

Just ask Ser Aerek to give some proper definition of what a Knight is.

Just ask Ser Aerek the same again, asking for an official definition, when he gives a long answer, ending with stating its his personal views, and that any other knight likely answer it quite differently.

Just point out to Ser Aerek that several "knights" diverge from this definition.

Just walk in on a Guild Tournament, after public announcement, posing a quite logical question: "What is a Knight?". Getting the response: "No, this is a tournament of swords, not of words."

Just point out that Mhaldor was not represented - and despite allowing Targossas to send a champion, we were not allowed to.

Just win a duel against Squire Archaeon (one of the few in the guild I cannot find unknightly flaws in) less than a day before he enters and wins the Guild Tournament.

Just question to Ser Aerek if defending vines in forest areas are actually within an official definition of defense of nature, like Exterminations are.

Just pose followups to Ser Aerek if even if they were, would a pair of members of the Guild actually need to muster another four or five savages to "defend" the spying vines in a room.

Just offer to duel what a guild member refers to as a "semi-combatant Squire" or "semi-combatant Knight"

Just question the actions of one of them a bit, and then leave the Guild honourably (By Guild and Infernal Rite tradition) just to have to endure a Knight a fifth of my strength (measured by the average size of the group he is in when killing me) weak attempts at shouting insults.

It is clear the only real definition as a Page or Squire is "Act flawless until Knighthood" and a knight "Be chivalrous when it suits you, and have a reason prepared in defense when not. Yes, Duty is enough."

Let me end that even though this goes for much of the Guild, I still hold respect for a selected few in the Guild. Very limited in the Knights tier, but more and more sense and quality is found when going through the Squires and Pages.

In His Eternal Service,
Spearthrower,
Burner of Vines,
Hashani Fine Collector,
Exterminatior of Isles and Sapience,
Probable victor of the latest Guild Tournament if allowed entrance,
Previous, and honourable discharged, Squire of Sir Arador,
Knight Apostle, Pleak, Commandant of His Isle

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Mayan, in the year 920 AF.
